Councils and Committees
The Academic Council at the Faculty of Humanities is concerned with academic matters of significant importance to the activity of the University. The Council is headed by the dean ex officio and is constituted by members from the academic staff and student members, with a number of members from the technical and administrative staff as observers.
Persuant to § 13 in Bekendtgørelse af lov om universiteter nr. 1368 af 07/12/2007 (the Danish law for Universities), the Faculty of Humanities sets up a number of recruitement panels whose main task is to ensure a good dialogue between the programmes and the labor market in terms of content, profile and relevance of the programmes.
The Faculty of Humanities' Co-operation Committee (FSU) is part of the cooperative organization at AAU. Above FSU is the central consultation committee, and below FSU are the local, departmental consultation committees. FSU deals with issues that belong on the faculty level.
The job of the consultation committee is to ensure good cooperation between management and staff.
